I plugged my First Edition Digital Dies USB into my Brother Scan N Cut, but it doesn’t work.

In order to ensure compatibility with all electronic cutting machine file types, the files on the First Edition Digital Dies USBs are provided in SVG format. Depending on your model of machine, the machine itself may not immediately recognise the files when you plug the USB into your machine. However there is a simple process to rectify this - simply plug your USB into a laptop or computer, upload the files to Canvas Workspace (use online here: https://canvasworkspace.brother.com/en or download desktop version: https://support.brother.com/g/b/midlink_product.aspx?c=gb&lang=en&site=pc&type3=10305&targetpage=18&pcatid=42), then save them as an .fcm file type. This will ensure your files are now editable using your machine’s interface - and you will only need to do this once. We recommend that all electronic cutting machine users import these files into the appropriate software for their machine to access the full range of customisation options.
